From the moment children join Teddy at camp, they are invited to explore the wider world without fear and full of wonder. Each page is a doorway to thrilling escapades—be it swimming in the clear blue lake, climbing the tallest trees, or racing canoes across sparkling waters. The narrative unfolds with a rhythmic cadence and rhymes that make the journey lively and engaging.
Like a seasoned guide, Teddy leads the way through each activity, encouraging young readers to be respectful, brave, and imaginative. The vibrant illustrations and playful verse create an immersive experience, making children feel as if they are right there with Teddy, splashing in the water, crafting tie-dye shirts, and sitting around the campfire under a starry sky.
Teddy’s Camp is the second installment in the enchanting TeddyTracks series. This story not only documents Teddy’s own explorations but also encourages children to embark on their own adventures, fostering a love for nature and the outdoors.

Your child will love this exciting story of a teddy bear’s camp adventures, filled with exploration, friendship, and fun.
A world traveler and avid cyclist, Peter Liptak loves to say “WOO HOO!” and knows that the simple experiences in life hold the greatest adventures. He explored many interests in University of Minnesota, from the wonders of astronomy and anthropology to philosophy and poetics, before graduating with BA in English Literature and History. Peter learned new skills as a preschool teacher, waiter, dance instructor and massage therapist while in school, and has worked as an actor, teacher, and writer since. Living in Korea, he studied Korean History, receiving his Master’s from Yonsei University in Seoul and helps Korean children visit summer camp in the US to explore a new culture for themselves.
Discovering the beauty of each moment and always open to new possibilities, he began his bicycle adventures early, often venturing out with his sister on old, rickety yellow bikes meant for adults. Such memories inspired him to venture ever further, journeying through Europe and across Asia, Oceania and Africa, finding adventure on two wheels and even testing his mettle in Ironman triathlons and desert races. Follow along with the travels of Peter and Teddy in our blog or start off on one of your own... “WOO HOO!”
